About

Email Council

The Email Council exists to provide support and guidance to email marketers. The Council sets the standards and advise on policy and legislative issues that affect the channel.

They undertake several research pieces to inform email marketers on benchmarking, consumer, and marketer behaviour. This research forms the foundation of their activity, drawing on themes to inform future output.

The Council achieves this and its other work on DMA materials with three hubs:

  • Awards: Promotion and education of the category currently active

  • Email in practice: Education around lots of topics including deliverability, strategy, mesurement, and creativity.

  • Research: Informing and activating the reports which come out of the Council.
