Role Profile

As a Research Executive it will be your role to be collecting and analysing the information that has been gathered from your research. You will also be tasked to find out people’s views about a range of different products or issues. With this information you'll be mainly researching for businesses and organisations to help them plan new products or services for the future in relation to your findings. You’d either collect data by doing quantitative research, which entails analysing numbers from surveys from people from different demographics to widen your results.Or you’d do qualitative research, where you analyse the language used by people in focus groups and in-depth questionnaires.

Key responsibilities

  • Meet clients to discuss research projects that are in progress also discussing progress made on requested projects

  • Come up with a plan or proposal and present it to the clients expressing how their requirements will be met

  • Manage a budget which will allocated to specific projects

  • Analyse data and present clealy results to clients whilst giving them advice on they can best utilise this sort of information

  • Design questionnaires and organise surveys in order to gain insights on organisations customer feedback in order to find ways to better run the company

  • Explain the process to interviewers and researchers

  • Monitor progress of surveys and constantly find innovative ways of finding out new information about customers

Requirements

  • Have an analytical thinking skills to be able to find intuitive ways to improve buisness from research

  • Excellent attention to detail to be able point out where where improvements can be made

  • The ability to use your initiative and find ways which creatively tackle issues

  • Fantastic customer service skills when dealing with clients

  • Excellent written communication skills to effectively communicate and express ideas on projects

  • Excellent verbal communication skills

  • To be able to use a computer and the main software packages confidently
