Role Profile
A Junior Copywriter is a creative professional who is responsible for writting compelling copy for a variety of mediums. This could include web copy, email copy, print ads, radio spots, television commercials, and more.
They help project a brand voice, and it's their job to ensure all copy is consistent with this voice through writing, editing, and proofing.
The Junior Copywriter must have excellent writing skills and be able to write in a variety of styles. They must be able to take complex ideas and turn them into simple, easy-to-understand copy.
Key responsibilities
Create copy for a range of media including social, print, video, and online
Ensuring high levels of editorial standards are met
Push brand consistency across all company communications
Edit and proofread work created by others
Be up to date with the latest trends
Collaborate with creative, marketing, and legal departments to monitor any project needs
Requirements
To be successful as a copywriter you must have:
Excellent writing skills and the ability to write in different styles for different target audiences.
Great organisation skils to manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
Be good at researching to get a good understanding of the subject in question.
Be able to think outside the box and come up with creative ways of getting messages across.
The ability to work independently and in team of other creative professionals.
A good eye for detail, including the ability to proofread work.
