Role Profile
As a Campaign Strategist, you'll be responsible for planning and coordinating events to promote projects such as advertising initiatives and political campaigns. Your responsibilities include controlling the efforts of marketing roles, various agencies, hiring internal team members and developing strategic plans for communicating a brand message.
Your primary duty is to ensure marketing campaigns achieve all their objectives. In your role you'll work closely with the marketing manager in order to create, execute and monitor the performances of the campaigns that you strategised and provide all the resources required to meet sales targets.
Key responsibilities
Create marketing campaigns based on consumer characteristics in order to gain new customers and build repeat business
Create new campaigns using the data and feedback to all on all projects
Manage promotional events including writing and proofreading marketing copy
Monitor marketing campaigns from the conception to execution and measure campaign's success- Ensure campaign implementation follows organisational guidelines- Be in charge of recruitment and training talent for the successful implementation of marketing campaigns
Create regular reports of the performances of each campaign
If you're to be successful as a campaign strategist you should have proven work experience as a Marketing Strategist or Marketing Manager
An excellent level of experience with marketing campaigns and web technologies is need to boost the campaigns awareness
You must have great knowledge of CRM software and Content Management Systems
Be familiar with using tools such as search engine optimisation and Google Analytics
Understanding of web design
Other important skills in this field include excellent organisation skills, good negotiation skills, marketing skills as well as being able to work independently and as part of a team
Strong analytical skills and good team management skills
BA or BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field
