A-Levels
Are you planning on getting into marketing? Whilst it’s not necessary to have certain A Level subjects in order to get a job in marketing, there are some A Levels that are well suited to this career path. Certain subjects cover topics that can be applied to marketing and will help you to gain knowledge that may be relevant.
However, it’s still really important to choose subjects you feel you will enjoy and are based around your personal strengths and interests. Thankfully, there are many different ways to get into marketing and you can take specific training whenever you like.

Choosing A Levels
Here are some A Levels that we believe are useful and relevant to Marketing. If you already know you want to get a Marketing job in the future, then you can start planning for that now.
A Level Business covers Marketing topics
A Level Graphics/Design helps you fine tune your creative skills
A Level Psychology gives you an insight into human and therefore consumer behaviour
A Level Geography and History can help research and analysis
A Level English can help improve your writing and storytelling abilities
Whilst these are probably the most relevant, lots of subjects will help you learn things that will help you be an excellent marketer. For example, maths can work really well for things like data analysis and budgeting and computer science is great for technical skills.
BTEC
You can study for a BTEC in Marketing which gives you a good grounding in practical and theoretical knowledge of Marketing that would enable you to progress into a Marketing apprenticeship or study Marketing or Business at a higher level
