Born and brought up in Kenya. Read economics at Exeter University. Started out working life as an economist, and then became a market analyst. Married into Yorkshire farming family, and moved north. Several years in B2B marketing and from there to a large mail order company. And finally into the agency world, mainly at Rapp. Set up new agency, Kanjo in 2007.
