The DMA's team of lawyers can advise members on a wide range of marketing law subjects including:

The legal team can also provide advice on compliance with the Committee for Advertising Practice Code and other codes of practice.

The legal advice is free to DMA members. Queries are usually dealt with immediately, with those requiring more in-depth advice receiving a full response within 24 hours.

The lawyers are not in a position to draft completely new documents, for example contracts, for members, but they can comment and offer advice on documents as required.
