New members

When applying to join the DMA - applicants agree to comply with the DM Code of Practice. The implications of this are as listed below.
Applicants are requested to designate a person to take the role of compliance officer.
When accepted into membership a new member will be asked to declare their promoted services (supplier members) or Direct Marketing Media used (Client members).
Within 6 months of membership, new members are required to have attended a Compliance Awareness Seminar.
After 6 months of membership, members are required to complete the appropriate Annual Compliance Questionnaire after which and subject to a satisfactory level of compliance, the Member Compliance Certificate will be issued.
From then on, the annual questionnaire completion and renewal will take place as indicated for existing members.
